The Town of Nantucket is a like a piece of complex machinery with numerous, interlocking parts. An adjustment of one part has both direct and indirect impacts on many other parts. My job as a Select Board member requires that I learn about as many aspects of each issue as I can, evaluating the potential impacts and taking into account the various opinions of the community. I take very seriously my responsibility to weigh each decision carefully and do my best to determine what is best for island as a whole. I have worked extremely hard and pledge to continue to do so on behalf of the community if I am re-elected in May.
